Physical Requirements: Constant hand-eye/mind-eye coordination. Frequent walking,
keyboarding, speaking, writing, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, and turning. Some lifting

Other Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication, strategic planning, problem
solving, organizational, time management, and conflict resolution skills. Computer proficiency in
word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, email, and internet. Ability to keep information
confidential.
Essential Functions & Duties:
- Escorts students to transportation and other areas of the building.
- As needed, provides personal care to students with special daily living needs (e.g., toileting, feeding, physical management).
- Provides review and practice of skills taught by a teacher with students 1:1 and in small groups in special education and/or regular classrooms.
- Works with students in schools and on community outings.
- Prepares instructional materials as directed/selected by teacher.
- Reinforces instructional/behavioral objectives.
- Assists with the supervision of students during recess, in the lunchroom, and on the playground.
- Maintains the confidentiality of students and their families.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
